Pan Fried Hellim

A quick and easy way to enjoy hellim - golden brown crust on the outside, soft and squeaky on the inside, and ready in just minutes!

Ingredients:

8oz hellim

1tbsp oil

Lemon (optional)

Directions:

Rinse brine from hellim, pat dry, and slice hellim into 8 slices. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sear hellim for 1 minute per side, until the outside is golden brown.

Remove from pan, sprinkle with lemon juice if desired, and enjoy.

Notes:

* If your pan is NOT nonstick, add 1tbsp of oil to the pan before searing the hellim.

* Do not overcrowd your pan, as the hellim will release brine as it is heated and and overcrowded pan won't allow the cheese to truly sear.
