Hellim and watermelon make a perfect pairing in this easy snack or appetizer. Delicious cold or try it grilled!
8 oz hellim (original or hot pepper), cut into bite size cubes
1 pound of watermelon, rind removed, cut into bite sized cubes
2 tbsp fresh basil or mint, chopped
Toss all ingredients together in a bowl, and enjoy. For an easy hors devours, stack a bite of hellim on top of a bite of watermelon and secure with a toothpick. Arrange toothpicks on a platter, garnish with chopped basil or mint and serve.
* Try it grilled! Skewer hellim with watermelon, then put on an oiled grill for a couple of minutes each side, and garnish with freshly chopped herbs. The perfect cookout snack!
